Inspiration

I find that sometimes I can get into a rut. Looking at my writing it seems to flow in the same way, sound the same, end the same, etc. (In fact, I just used the three phrase again, GAH!) Anyway....

When I see this happening I love to go and read other people's material. I love to see how they weave together a story, a character, a setting or even just their own thoughts (Ha! Four this time!)

So...I decided to make this cute little page titled "Inspiration" where I will periodically come and add blogs that I love to turn to when my own little world hits a rut or decides to have a flat and not go anywhere.

First off...

This is a blog by a girl named Liz who writes about writing. It is quite fantastic! And...there are several helpful tips and tricks tucked away!

I personally know the girl who writes this blog and let me tell you- she is amazing! She can look at a water drop and create a fantastic story that has you sitting on the edge of your seat!

"Beneath the Surface"  http://beneathbyali.blogspot.com/
This is the blog I go to to find other blogs. Don't get me wrong, Ali is a fantastic writer and great friend. But I have to say, her taste in other blogs is what truly draws me to Beneath the Surface.

Wow...what to say about this one...Wonderful, amazing, fantastic, over-abounding in brilliant literature and skilfully woven stories...The list goes on. Just check it out :)

Here is another amazing blog. In this blog Emily takes an object a day and, well, writes. I find myself lost in her mini (and sometimes not so miniature) stories. (For now she is taking a break, but don't worry! There are already PLENTY of posts for you to entertain yourself until she decides to pick it back up again!)

I absolutely love this blog. Yes, I happen to be a bit biased, being how I love the person who writes the blog. (: However, my bias does not affect how wonderful of a writer my good friend Brooke is! I highly recommend her to you all!
